An Hermetic Compendium of Typographic Masonry
PRINT Magazine has recently published an interview by Steven Heller with Richard Niessen of Holland’s Niessen and de Vries where he discusses his recent exhibition ‘A Hermetic Compendium of Typographic Masonry’.
In the interview Niessen discusses the origins of the project and how he came up with the 26 posters and 108 wooden sticks that make up the content of this exhibition. He also discusses his influences and his position in the continuum of design.
