Japanese Poster Artist Exhibition
On February 2014 the Museum für Gestaltung in Zürich presented the Japanese Poster Artist: Cherry Blossom and Asceticism exhibition, a poster collection with more than 300 work pieces by old masters like Shigeo Fukuda, Kazumasa Nagai and Ikko Tanaka. The exibith will continue until May 25th.
The exhibition is a cultural contribution to the 150th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Switzerland and will include a piano concert by Satoko Inoue, a traditional Japanese tea ceremony, workshops and talks. As you can see in this images, Japanese graphic design use posters as an artistic statement where you can find reflected all the mystic and fascinating culture of this country.
