The first Poster Monday of the day belongs to Peyman Arfania from Iran for the poster entitled “Art Collect Iran”. Peyman was born in 1983, in Tehran, Iran, holds a MA in Graphic Design from the Fine Arts/Tehran University. Currently works as a freelance graphic designer and teaches graphic courses to young students since 2009 and he also teaches graphic design to youth Afghan refugee in Iran during the past 2 years to help them to finding job and improve their lives.

Peyman designed the poster “Art Collect Iran” for the Iranian Art fair that feature different fields of art like traditional and modern paintings. He is very interested in the Iranian traditional painting and also has done several research in the field of Iranian portraits painting. Several posters from Peymann are the result of this research and the poster “Art Collect Iran” is one of them.

“I designed the poster whit a face that comes from a traditional Persian painting (miniature) and I used this face in a geometrical space whit spot colors. I wanted to design a image that show Iranian traditional culture in the modern space.” says Peyman.
