The poster “Barrier-free sky” is related with the conflict between Palestine and Israel. It talks about the problematic perspective of life Palestinians have. The poster conveys a message of hope for the people from Gaza who wants to live under a bright blue sky. It was when Israel was bombing Gaza indiscriminately that Byoung decided to create this poster. “The news about children being slaughtered was the most profound motive, I hope to have an impact with this poster in the name of peace and reflection, not just as a temporary solution but a lasting one” says Byoung.
“Barrier-free sky” is one of three posters designed by Byoung Il Sun for “Posters for Gaza Exhibition” held in Turkey. If you would like to know more about Byoung visit his personal site
