Jovana Jankovic was born in 1992 in Kraljevo, Serbia and she is in our first Poster Monday spot of the day for her poster entitled “Faust”. Jovana is currently studying at the Faculty of Philology and Arts in Kragujevac, Department of Graphic design, she participated in many group exhibitions, design events and in local and international design festivals.

For the poster she wanted to present the theme illustrative and simple using experimental typography. “This illustration for the “Faust” is symbolizing my impressions on scientist, who represents the antichrist of the modern era, forever changing the perspective of people in the passed periods.” says Jovana.

Her approach to each design is firstly with preliminary sketches, then searching for the essence of it by using as less informations as possibile to answer questions.
