Poster Monday: Playground
The second Poster Monday spot of the day goes to Luís Veiga from Portugal for his poster entitled “Playground”. Luís was born in Porto, Portugal, where he studied advertising, after this he perfected his craft by working on more than 20 creative agencies.
He has a wide background, and is not just design minded. “What really motivates me comes from the advertising angle. I think of myself as a professional who loves lasting and meaningful projects. A team-player first, but still very ambitious. intense and determined. I’m a firm believer that the best is always yet to come.” comments Luís.
The poster “Playground” conceived for the Poster for Tomorrow 2015’s initiative “Work Right!” is about child labour. The title is meant to be understood as a satire, which Luís represented on the poster by illustrating the dichotomy between the heavy-duty building brick and the toy building block.
