Poster Monday: Rubbers Not Bombs
The second Poster Monday spot of belongs to “Stop The Campaign”, an American call-to-action initiative to regain lost sovereignty, for the poster “Rubbers Not Bombs”.
The poster illustrates the hypocrisies we’re numbed to on a daily basis. And there’s no greater hypocrisy than our consumption of war vs. acts of love.
“As a visual communicator, I’ve always had a passion for poster design. And the importance of it as a vehicle of communication, cannot be overstated. It’s social media in its purest form. I’ve always been inspired by artists with something to say. Henri Toulouse-Lautrec, Henryk Tomaszewski and Luba Lukova changed my life.” says the mysterious guy from Stop The Campaign. A phrase to be remembered “The poster is social media in its purest form.”
