Poster Monday: Una sola conexión Venezuela
This is the second Poster Monday spot of the day, and it belongs to Frank Guzmán from Venezuela for his poster Una sola conexión Venezuela (One connection Venezuela).
In this poster Frank is using an analogy to talk about the political situation Venezuela is facing. Each cable represents a political party, the Revolutionary Party (Red) and the opposition (Blue). The union in the middle, the mix between both cables is the people, us, united without political flags with only one purpose, to solve this adverse situation.
According to Frank, it’s important to remember in situations like this, where the hegemonic media are crossed by political interests, that it’s necessary to promote and communicate through alternative channels like the poster, independent and open, to raise awareness and placate the political heat.
Political differences are always welcome but when these ideas subdue the rights and integrity of the people we to have to cut the power and remove the political dye. Only a united Venezuela can generate a force, an energy to overcome this situation. Posters like this one are born as a grain of sand and can become the angular stone to start to build upon it.
