The new Taco Bell campaign “Routine Republic,” created by the agency Deutsch presents a series of humorous print ads that mimic the state-sanctioned artwork of the communist era to depict a dystopian totalitarian world of uninspired food where McDonald’s is the ultimate ruler. By doing this Taco Bell smartly places it’s brand as the rebellious underdog trying to bring a new favor to this oppressed society.
