Ayotzinapa posters in the streets
Imagenes en voz alta (Out loud images) started in San Luis Potosi, Mexico created by Gabo Pozos and Orlando Lupercio. The idea to gather protest posters from different graphic artists to conform a free use image bank on the subject of Ayotzinapa 43 missing students has received a lot of support from several people in Mexico and other countries.
“Share, print, talk and discuss” is the motto encouraged in each of the posters of the collection.
All the posters can be seen here, and downloaded for print here, but the most satisfying result of this effort has been the appearance of the posters on the streets during several protests around Mexico and other countries; as well as on walks in Mexico City historic downtown led by one of the authors Jorge Garnica.
