As part of the events for AIGA’s Centennial Celebration, the Denver Museum in showcasing an installation of 35 contemporary posters in the exhibition Drawn to Action: Posters from the AIGA Design Archives.
The exhibition hopes to show viewers the great power of design as a tool for chance and to challenge their own assumptions about a broad range of sociopolitical issues such as racism, the environment, literacy, peace and equality. The pieces featured include works Ivan Chermayeff, Seymour Chwast, Luba Lukova, Woody Pirtle and James Victore, among others.
