Colorful Japan is a poster and design exhibition being held at Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. The show pays tribute to Japanese designer Shigeru Watano (1937-2012). Through the help of Watano, the Stedelijk Museum aquired many great posters from Japanese designers that were generously donated over the years. The current exhibition features 226 Japanese posters from artists including Ikko Tanaka, Kazumasa Nagai, Mitsuo Katsui, Hiroshi Ochi,  Yusaku Kamekura, Shigeo Fukuda.
