Poster Monday: Design the Future
For the first poster Monday spot of august we have the work “Design the Future” designed by Antonia Marisescu from Timisoara-Romania, a graduate of the West University of Timisoara, University of Arts and Design, with a PdD in Visual Arts, on the topic “Illustration in Graphic Design”.
She deal with digital illustration, graphic design, poster design, acrylic painting. Her approaches in design work are mainly focused on the symbolic treatment of messages. Antonia often use color, geometric shapes, the volatility of wavy shapes in my creative palette.
The poster “Design the Future” was made for participated in the poster biennial at the University of Arts and Design in Timisoara, 2020. This poster talks about the connection that current design can have with the future through people. “The poster wants to communicate through geometric shapes, through the play of colors and the font shapes used. The poster, which are played inside the composition with the messages hidden by symbols, numbers, geometric shapes and colors. It was created for aesthetic and decorative purposes. It was important for me in this project that I found inspiration in the book “100 Years of Swiss Graphic Design”. This book helped me as a landmark for the formatted compositional layout” tell us Antonia.
