Poster Monday: Made of clay
For the first Poster Monday spot of the day we have a poster from Wojciech Osuchowski from Poland for his poster “Made of Clay (Z gliny)”. Wojciech started to work as a graphic designer 25 years ago. Currently he is a doctoral student at the Fine Art Institute of the Silesian University in Cieszyn, Poland. He also works as a graphic designer and art director in an advertising agency.
“Made of Clay (Z gliny)” was made for a exhibition of sculptures at the Gallery 36,6 at the Fine Art Institut in Cieszyn. The background photo displays part of a red clay sculpture made by Anna Koniecka.
“In my opinion posters are the essence of graphic design. I like the principle: less is more. In my posters I deal with social issues. They often are my quarrel with the modern and aggressive world. The most important is the message.” says Wojciech.
