Today’s first Poster Monday spot goes to David Criado for his poster entitled “Obesity”. David is a graphic artist from Vitoria-Gasteiz, Pais Vasco, Spain. Studied Graphic Art Production with a specialty in Graphic Design. For a time he took the path of web design, animation and CGI but his specialty are posters, typography, corporate image and digital illustration.

He has won many awards at a national and international level and his work has been published in different magazines and design books. Former president of Catalográfica, a group promoting Graphic Design in Bolivia and director of the 3º International Poster Biennial of Bolvia, BICEBé 2009. Worked at Designink, a graphic design social network from Bolivia, he is the coordinator of “Tipos Latinos Bolivia“, and as professor of graphic design at the Universidad Católica Boliviana “San Pablo”. Currently works as Art Director in a Graphic Design studio from Madrid.

“Obesity”, a criticism of the American society feeding habits, was one of the finalist posters of Poster Heroes 4 contest. David’s work has been featured in many places around the world such as Mexico, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, Peru and the list goes on.
