Poster Monday: Puls Literatury festival 2014
The second Poster Monday spot belongs to Victor Soma from Poland for his poster entitled “Puls Literatury festival 2014”. Victor is a visual artist, illustrator, graphic designer, motion designer, interactive designer, art director and cartoonist. He has more than 15 years of experience. Currently lives and works in Warsaw (sometimes in Krakow), Poland.
Puls Literatury (Pulse of Literature) is an annual festival dedicated to literature, located in polish industrial city of Lodz. The main concept behind the poster for this event was to create the visual eqivalent to obsession of cataloguing, playing with contexts and starting to notice a mutual dependency between words.
This poster is an invitation to see the whole world as a Borges’ library. “The main idea behind the creative process was to find the way to show it very clearly, so i choose simple, vector shapes. Some of my friends said that it is similar to the work of Chris Ware (American cartoonist, graphic novelist).” says Victor.
