Poster Monday: Punishment
The Poster Monday spot of this week comes from México, by the hand of Luis Ángel García who crated Punishment. Luis Ángel studied graphic design in San Luis Potosí, México. His work has been exhibited in México, Peru, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Russia and Cyprus.
The poster was designed for the Strelka International Design Biennale, where it was also selected. The poster reflects one of the main messages of Dostoyevsky’s novel Crime and Punishment: remorse; which is the worst punishment a person can have.
“For me, the poster is the universal visual medium, there is a part of us in each poster and there are no languages or borders that prevent what the world appreciates” says Luis Ángel.
