Poster Monday: Terror
For the first Poster Monday spot of this month we have a poster from Poland designed by Paulina Przygoda entitled “Terror”. Paulina grew up in Gdańsk, Poland, and studied Akademy of fine Arts in Gdańsk and her biggest love are social posters. “This is the ideal form of expression for me. After a few years of cooperation with great people and artists who supported and mentored me I have found my passion” says Paulina.
The concept behind of the poster “Terror” is portraying how much consumerism is destroying us. The need of having materialistic things is burning us like matches. In the Paulina’s opinion the idea of the poster is very simple but also, very telling. Burnt out matches reminds the image of people locked in a barcode. Everyone should stop for a moment and think: Is my life worth as much as the sum of my possessions? says Paulina.
