For this second Poster Monday spot of the day we have the talented Lauren Rolwing from Tennessee, USA. She has received numerous international awards in the areas of poster design & children’s book illustration.

The poster we are featuring here is called “Wood for the hood” and was designed for the for the 5th annual tree canopy fundraise organized by the Belmont-Hillsboro Neighbors, Inc which is focused on enhancing the tree canopy in public areas within the neighborhood. Since this project started over 500 trees have been planted in Belmont-Hillsboro.

A playful and colorful artwork which shows the occupants of the trees ‘neighborhood’ rather than the neighborhoods below the trees, an invitation to look up to discover all the life around us. Congratulations for your work Lauren!
