Poster Monday: World Without Vladimir Putin
For this monday we bring you a poster from Ulvi Gulusoy born in 1994 in Jalilabad, Azerbaijan, now live in the capital Baku; Ulvi have been teaching Graphic Design in the leading design academy and is an official representative of Adobe and Autodesk in Azerbaijan: Baku Design Academy since 2019, also an Adobe Certified Professional with a badge of “Visual Design” He started his design career in 2013.
“The idea behind this poster is to symbolize the terror Vladimir Putin bought to the world in recent months. The phrase “миру мир но не владимир. (Miru mir, no ne Vladimir)” means that the world needs peace (mir) not war (symbolically Vladimir). In this case, the word mir in Russian means both world and peace. And by removing (scratching) mir from Vladimir Putin’s name I tried to visualize that the actions of Putin go against the principles of a peaceful society” tell us Ulvi.
