Poster Monday: Zero Waste
The last place of the Poster Monday of November is for Gonzalo Holtheuer from Chile and his “Zero Waste” poster. Gonzalo is an architect by profession but he tells us that: “for me graphic design and particularly posters have been and will always be my passion. For me, posters are a universe in themselves, capable of transmitting a series of emotions, through an unlimited range of possibilities. The poster not only communicates, but also summons, provokes and moves, and that interaction with the viewer fascinates me”.
About the poster ” Zero Waste ” Gonzalo tells us: “The creative concept of the poster was to take a universal icon, such as a public trash receptacle, and give it a potential for transformation, to the extent that it ceases to fulfill its function, for which it was made. Regarding the creative process, personally, I like to work with elements that are recognizable by everyone, and give them a twist or a condition that they did not have before, but that are still recognized as such”.
