Two of the most important names in graphic design publishing, Steven Heller and Mirko Ili, are putting together a book devoted to 400 years of Shakespeare theatre posters and inviting designers to submit any posters they have designed for Shakespeare plays.

Celebrating the 400th anniversary since the Bard’s passing, the book will showcase some of the greatest graphic performance posters and will be produced by Princeton Architectural Press. The editors are also looking to organize a major exhibition of the original posters to both promote the book and bring attention to Shakespeare’s continued presence in modern day theatre.

It’s important to point out that the submitted designs must be published posters; no student and personal work will be accepted. Deadline for complete submission is September 1st, 2014. For all the details please download the information and submission form here.
