Steamroller printing
For a third year in a row Topo Copy has teamed up with Helix and Het Miat (Museum of Industrial Archaeology and Textiles Ghent) to create a series of giant prints on concrete using a steamroller, a type of heavy construction machinery used for flattening/compacting surfaces, such as roads or airfields. During a two-day-event the carved lino’s and wooden plates got inked and printed on ‘flags’ and paper with the aid of a steamroller.
What do you think about this original approach to poster making? Have you tried something similar? We’re certainly loving the results!
