Exhibition: It’s Alive!

It’s Alive! Classic Horror and Sci-Fi Art from the Kirk Hammett Collection
Kirk Hammett, famous as the lead guitarist for the band Metallica, has organized an exhibition of his classic collection of horror and sci-fi movie posters. The show displays 135 works from 20th century cinema, including original posters, costumes, props and guitars. Kirk has spent decades amassing these rare and beautiful artworks that capture the evolution of poster design in film. The exhibition can be seen at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA.
