“Presenting a poster in public space is still a holy grail to many designers.”

That’s correct! Specially when the poster is driven by a voice of protest and social awareness, because the designer really can have an impact on people’s mind regarding actual issues. It is true that a poster cannot change the world, but it can change a person’s mind, and that’s more than enough so he or she can take a course of action, in whanever their fields are.

And that’s why Graphic Matters poster call was about, to reunite the voice of designers from all over the world to present the most striking and aesthetic messages.
