Earlier this month, the Museum of Prints and Design Carlos Cruz-Diez in Venezuela opened the exhibition Trascender,  Carteles en homenaje a Juan Carlos Darias (Transcend, Posters in tribute to Juan Carlos Darias).

This exhibition is a collective recognition of the career, sensitivity and legacy of one of the most representatives graphic designers in Venezuela: Darias, who not only opened a window to the formation of new visual communication professionals with critical sense and responsibility, but also stood out for his commitment to promote and add value to the national design scene, always in connection with the global trends in visual communication.

The posters in this exhibition have been made by a large number of professionals recognized national and internationally. This Venezuelan talented, was able to transcend thanks to his perseverance, creativity and commitment to socially responsible design. He therefore found his place in the universe of designers, achieving recognition as one of the ambassadors of Latin American design.
