V International Biennale of Socio-Political Poster results
On May 28, 2014 the jury of the V International Biennial of Socio-Political Poster deliberated to choose this year’s winners. The competition received 312 entries from 142 authors and 18 countries. Of all the entries 72 were qualified for the competition exhibition.
The jury awarded the following prizes:
Prize received SEBASTIAN Kubica (Poland) for the poster “Compromise” second prize received Nicos Terzis (Greece) for the poster “Mayday” Third Prize received ALICE DRUEDING and JOE Scorsone (USA) for the poster “Global hunger”
In addition, prizes were awarded to:
AnStifter Foundation for Przemysław Bukowski (Poland) for the poster “Face to face”
Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow for LESZEK Zebrowski (Poland) for the poster “not toxic”
Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice for HALINA HOŁUBOWEJ (Ukraine) for the poster “Crime Scene”
Rector of the Technical University in Katowice for LUO XI (China) for the poster “Restrictions of the Internet”
And honorable mentions:
