October first was the opening date for the One Word Poster Show, an exhibition of 19 screen printed posters from 19 students at the Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. For many of the students, this was their first screen printed poster. Each student selected a random word and designed a poster around it. The opening included guest speaker Victor Melendez, a 2006 graduate who presented .his current poster work as well as his portfolio of Starbuck’s packaging.
