Poster Monday: Innovation in Education
Our first Poster Monday of the day is Innovation in Education, designed by Sabina Oberholzer & Renato Tagli for the exhibition of the same name organized by the Ataturk University Continuous Education Centre.
Following the them of innovation Sabina and Renato, reflected on the media and its relationship with the youth today, and thought of the metaphor of the trapped mouse, showing young people that even though technology can be an aid they should be careful not to abuse it. To round up the concept they included the text “Information Technology helps innovate education, but don’tget hung up on it!
Sabina and Renato think that visual communication is one of the components very important for our society. It is very important to communicate the message in a simple and clear way. They have long experience in graphic design, both individually and collectively. Their poster work their work has been recognized and rewarded in many competitions and collections around the world. In 2005, they were invited to participate in the Swiss National Bank’s contest for creating the new series of banknotes, and in 2009 they won the contest for the Swiss Post Office’s stamp series Auguri (good wishes), in circulation since last September.
