Poster Monday: kahkaha
For the second Poster Monday spot of the day we have a poster entitled “kahkaha” designed by Marisa De Sena Nachif from Brazil. Marisa is a graphic designer and art director, she has worked at McCann Erickson – Lisbon and some other advertising agencies from São Paulo, Brazil.
Currently she works as a freelance designer and lives in Campo Grande, Brazil. Recently one of her posters has been awarded at the poster competition Comic Sans for Cancer inspired by the 20th anniversary of Comic Sans with proceeds going to cancer research UK.
Marisa was inspired by a news from bbc.com. It seems that Turkish women should not laugh in public. For this reason Marisa created this poster using a computer software. “My sympathy for Turkish women is because my grandmother was also Turkish. I believe in peace and freedom of expression.” says Marisa.
