Poster Monday: Kiss Domestic Violence Goodbye
For this new edition of Poster Monday we have a poster entitled “Kiss Domestic Violence Goodbye” from Lisa Leconte, she studied at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California and spent about 15 years working in publishing as a magazine designer and art director in Southern California. This gave her a passion for typography, photography and illustration. After that Lisa freelanced in design and now currently teaches Digital Design at Hollywood High School.
The poster “Kiss Domestic Violence Goodbye” was done to promote awareness of domestic violence and that we all have a voice in stopping it. It is a cycle that is hard to break free of. Most people are unaware that domestic violence also includes emotional, mental or psychological abuse, stalking and cyber-stalking. “I absolutely love poster design and I have been designing my whole life, but am relatively new to poster design so it’s something I would like to do more of” says Lisa.
If you would like to know more about Lisa Leconte visit her personal web page, and as you already may know submit your posters to be featured in our coming editions of Poster Monday.
