The first spot of the day belongs to Jordan Hu, a previously Poster Monday featured designer. In this occasion the featured poster is entitled “Life is like a boat” and it is a typographical representation inspired by the song, “Life is Like a Boat” by Rie Fu.

“My concept behind this poster was placing a boat in an unconventional atmosphere to further express the mood of the song. The intent behind photographing an object placed in an unconventional setting was to explore an alternative in approaching and interpreting something.” says Jordan.

The imagery is a single photograph of paper boats stuck to a window splashed with water. Jordan chose a vertical typography disposition to follow the lighting and pathway of the drips.
