Poster Monday: Stay Home, Stay Safe
The first Poster Monday spot of June goes to Hassan Karimzadeh from Iran for his poster “Stay Home, Stay Safe”. He has been a prolific Visual artist; Iranian Graphic designer, Cartoonist and director of Art for many years. Hassan is a main member of some international journalism and arts associations, such as: (IGDS) Iran, (ICOGRADA) Canada, (CFP) France, and (IFJ) Belgium, and Ambassador of the United Sketches international association in France. His work has been awarded numerous titles, honors and important prizes; during his artistic career, also his works have been exhibited and printed in various Journals, in Iran and abroad. Hassan has published a number of books for himself and his colleagues till now; to record and display of visual experiences; even in the course of his artistic life, he was arrested and sentenced to ten years in prison!
The poster “Stay Home, Stay Safe” it’s an advice, Aafter the pandemic of the Corona virus, and the guidelines of the World Health Organization for general quarantine at home, many people didn’t take it seriously! And with their physical presence in public places, they increased the number of people with corona. Therefore, they should have been given a serious warning; by various ways. One of these methods of social information is posters. ”I used the form of the Minesweeper game in the Windows PC, to warn of the danger of leaving home; any extra and unnecessary steps will lead to disaster. For me Poster is a simple yet effective method of speaking with the audience and expressing my emotions and vision” says Hassan.
