Poster Monday: No War
The first Poster Monday spot of July belongs to Chia Hsiang Lee from Taiwan for her poster entitled “No War”. Chia Is a social observer specializing in creative pop art design. Hundreds of awards have been won in major design competitions, not only in Taiwan but also around the world including France, Dubai, Spain, Slovenia, Peru, South Korea, China, Argentina, Poland, Finland, Ukraine, Ecuador, Turkey, Mexico, Russia, Cyprus, India, Iran, Jamaica, etc. Recently invited to serve as one of the judges of the Turkish Bolo Poster Award and Taiwan posters from the 2022 Russia GOLDEN TURTLE Jury Coronavirus International Poster Competition has great enthusiasm for poster design, and develops design education and speech.
Chia Hsiang Lee tell us “The war between Ukraine and Russia gave me the idea; using the English word NO, it is converted into the shape of a tank, symbolizing the concept of anti-war, and showing the creativity of not war. The influence of the social environment inspired my creative inspiration”.
