This week, Poster Monday belongs to Ralph Burkhardt from Germany for his poster Open doors. Ralph is a visual artist, who has designed many posters, mainly for art and cultural exhibitions. He studied Information/Media at the University of Design in Schwäbisch Gmünd. He worked at Büro Uebele – visual communication and Jung Von Matt/Neckar. He has been awarded with various national and international design prizes. Since 2012 he teaches typography at the Media University (HdM). He is a member of aed Stuttgart and the author of »Printdesign«, a manual about graphic design.

The Open Doors poster was made for an open office day in his studio. The message is clear. “It says come in, we are open and take a look on our work. Burkhardt Hauke – Büro für Gestaltung is a design studio based in Tübingen. As an office and with a network of partners and design for companies in the areas of design, product and architecture, as well as for institutions of public and cultural spheres”.
