This Poster Monday’s edition brings under its wings a graphic designer from Ecuador. David Jimenez is a passionate designer, his relation with poster design can be traced back to his early days of university, when was asked to work on a poster for a final project assignment, since then, David found in this media the best way for communicating his personal thoughts.

This poster reflects the typical discourse so well known and repeated along history that justifies all kinds of actions in pursuit of peace. Nations appealing on violence, imposing on others to accept what they think is correct. Once peace is lost, we have to hold tight to rights, for the foolish justifications are just around the corner.

David worked on this poster to increase awareness on how peace is reached since the beginning of mankind: wars, fights, violence, and all kind of disputes. With simplicity yet with clarity and efectivity he produced a great poster.
