Poster Monday: Rich vs Poor
The second Poster Monday spot of the days goes to Luis Yañez from Mexico city for the poster Rich vs. Poor.
Luis is a graphic designer, graduated in illustration. He has been designing social and political posters since 2001, has been selected and participated in various poster projects. Parallel to poster design Luis works designing for the youngest (children illustration, character design, toy design and children’s activities)
The poster we are featuring here belongs to a serie of personal posters with the subject: Inequity in the distribution of wealth in the world, in which Luis tries to explain that if you’re rich or poor, at the very end it is the same. This piece was featured in the exhibition “Con 2 Colores” from Spain with over a hundred of pieces dealing with current social issues in a direct and visceral way.
