Poster Monday: Thinking Eating Saving
Babak Bayrami from Tehran, Iran is on our first Poster Monday spot of the day for his poster “Thinking Eating Saving”. Babak graduated from Yazd Visual Arts School and continued his studies in Tehran Enghelab Eslsmi Technical Faculty. Currently he is taking a B.A in graphic design in Karaj Applied Science & Technology University.
Babak has a unique artistic ideology and concerns about pure art which somehow includes all aspects of art. Babak believes that “the art is not concern just art and nor the people, it belongs to all creatures around the world”. His specific artistic ideology, unique style and structure can be recognized from his posters. You can see the signs of his ideology in his works in a way that it has all the necessary factors and specifications.
This poster serie “Thinking Eating Saving” implies the annual waste of foods among the world. Annually, 1/3 of the food produced becomes waste. On the second poster section, 1/3 of bread is consumed by some people. In the third section the remain part of the bread is decade and it’s on the Africa and Asia continents. It means that it would have been used by other parts of the world if it hadn’t been wasted.
“I generate ideas about universal and humanistic issues and picture them using different artistic techniques. The structure and style of my artistic works have some specifications that you can see in my posters collection.” comments Babak.
