Another week goes by and another Poster Monday arrives. This spot of the day belongs to Angie Soto Tinoco she is an activist graphic designer, who creates for the good, about different social topics that affect the planet and the people. Her job is to create awareness in people about their actions and about the role of each individual in society. Angie was born and raised in Mexico City and loves poster design & helps people through. Her work has been exhibited in various countries such as Mexico, the United States, Ecuador, Peru, Spain, and China. Has been a finalist in poster and graphic design competitions worldwide.

The poster “Together in the Distance” emerged after the news of the coronavirus came out in the world. “The issue of social distance has hit people’s emotions very hard, so I wanted to help in some way, in transmitting resilience. It is at that moment that I saw the open call to participate in #staysafestaysane by What Design Can Do. The poster speaks of the power of love, despite the distance, of staying strong internally, of knowing that this will pass and in the meantime showing empathy and love for our loved ones. Now more than ever it is important to stay together, even if it is at a distance. Many of our loved ones are far away, but our hearts are together” Angie says.
