The second Poster Monday spot goes to Gregory Bishop for the poster “Winterlude”. Gregory is a multimedia producer and editor who took a shot on designing this poster for his own surrealist short film.

Gregory and his team wanted a mysterious, yet powerful image of the central character to represent the emotions and a subtle background reference to the abstract space she would interact with. The actress Becky Cofta was photographed laying on a granite surface, which created the look of the subtle dust particle’s. Using sunlight from one side of the studio they create the shadows and highlights.

Once they got a shot strong enough to introduce the lead character by digital edition they added the red color tone to the poster since it has a strong presence in the film.
