Flash photography is one of the easiest ways to detect a life-threatening eye cancer called Retinoblastoma. The tumour can develop in young children from birth and often reflects back as a white pupil. Early detection is the key to saving their sight and their lives. That’s why British organisation, CHECT (Childhood Eye Cancer Trust) created the Flash Photo Posters, using reflective ink. It is a way to show parents how they can easily detect eye cancer in their child by themselves. All they need to do is just take a photo of the kid’s eyes, using a smartphone. In this case one photo can truly save child’s health, or even life. Parents were also encouraged to show pictures on #haveyouCHECT. Just check out the video!
