Disgusting posters made with bacteria
A poster that’s guaranteed to gross you out!! The Netherlands Nutrition Centre came up with an original and powerful campaign to create awareness about food poisoning using common bacterias which exist in the ordinary Dutch kitchen. The posters and digital billboards showed the growth of bacteria through a time-lapse to create a text that reads “You can’t see what makes you ill” and other texts that provided advice on how to avoid food poising such as fridge temperature, using a cutting board, etc.
Every day 2000 Dutch people get food poisoning from invisible infectious bacteria, most of which can be found in our own kitchen. This campaign aims to raise awareness and reduce this number, by making the invisible visible.
