Poster Monday: Butterfly Effect
For the last Monday of September we are sharing the poster titled “Butterfly Effect” by Çağdaş İnci, a designer that we had already presented. This poster received second place in the last Zero Waste international poster competition organized by Posterland in Turkey.
Each year, 400 million tons of plastic is produced and 40% of that is single-use – plastic we’ll only use once before it’s binned. The problem is that this and other plastics do not disappear once we dispose of them, but rather, as the poster “Butterfly Effect” proposes, that small action triggers many other actions that are dangerous and harmful to the environment and of course to ourselves for example each year, 100,000 animals in the sea are killed by plastic.
