Poster Monday: Konar
Today’s first Poster Monday spot goes to Mohammad (Sina) Afshar for his poster entitled Konar Theater Poster. Mohammad is a graphic artist from Mashad, Iran; Graduated in Computer/Software and Freelance Graphic Designer and a renowned poster designer.
He has won many awards at a national and international level and his work has been exhibited in the Modern Art Museum –Russia, Jamaica, Ukraine, Italy, China, Mexico, France, Turkey and many others.
Mohammad explains the concept of his poster: “Konar is a sacred tree which grows in the south of Iran. The subject of this theater refers to survivors of 8-year war between Iran and Iraq (1980-1988) which happened in the south of Iran. The general image (Cassette Tape) is related to one of the theater’s element that present in many moments of theater and this cassette tape is transformed to Konar”
