Poster Monday: Surviving, work right
For this Poster Monday spot we have a poster designed by Kathiana Cardona from Venezuela entitled “Surviving”. Kathiana was born in Caracas, and studied graphic design and visual arts in Montreal Canada. She is a Professor at Saint Mary University in Caracas Venezuela, teaching Graphic and Editorial Design.
Kathiana is designer and photographer. Her images as creator and her work as a teacher, organizer of cultural initiatives and jury of images focus on giving living form to an idea: Images can be powerful enough to change reality.
The poster “Surviving, work right” was designed for the contest Poster for Tomorrow 2014 to defend one of the most important human rights, the right to work. “The concept is to see the work as a lifeguard, work gives humans an adequate standard of living, which will produce well, with can purchase food, medicine, education and entertainment among other things, work preserves your life” says Kathiana.
