Poster Monday: Trees
For this new edition of Poster Monday we are featuring a poster “Trees” designed by Wiktor Barlog. He got acquainted with the poster’s work during his studies at the poster workshop at Tarnow State Academy in the class with Wojciech Kołek. Previously, Wiktor only dealt with drawing and painting, now study in the small city of Tarnów, Poland; same city where he was born.
The poster “Trees” refers to the topic of tree felling and changes in natural animal environments, the poster itself is a story rather than a work of symbol. Deforestation is one of the main causes of the loss of animal species in the world, although the annual deforestation rate has been estimated at 10 million hectares in the last five years, compared to 12 million hectares in 2010-2015 and 16 million hectares in 1990-2000, it is not fast enough to save the millions of animals that die due to the loss of their habitat.
Remember that all submissions to Poster Monday are considered each week. If you would like to submit a poster to be featured find all the info you need in our submissions page, facebook and instagram.
