The 2015 China-Italy International Design Week – ‘The Evolving Silk Road’ was successfully held at the Palazzo Medici Riccard in Florence, Italy on January 14^th. The award ceremony was held shortly after the opening ceremony uncovering all the award-winning artworks.

The Chinese Embassy on Italy, the consulate of Florence Jian Wang, the head of Florence Environmental Protection Bureau Alessia Bettini, the president of The China Italy Friendship Association Francesca Cappellini, the head curator of the Italian Poster Biennial Sergio Olivotti and the judge Francesco Mazzenga, as well as several professors from supporting Institutes and Universities, and shortlisted participants and the representatives sponsors were presented at the ceremony.

Last week the 2015 China-Italy International Design Week: The Evolving Silk Road took place the at the Palazzo Medici Riccardi in Firenze, Italy.

The event was attended by distinguished guests from the Chinese Consul, Councillor Alessia Bettini of Florence and many other important personalities from the design world. The seven members of the international jury were Leonardo Sonnoli (Italy-AGI-Jury President), Finn Nygaard (Denmark-AGI), Erich Brechbühl (Switzerland-AGI), Sabina Oberholzer (Switzerland-AGI) & Renato Tagli (Switzerland), Peter Bankov (Russia) and Marco Innocenti (Italy).

The organizing committee received a total of 1210 entries from 15 countries. For the exhibition a total of 225 projects were selected, and after three rounds of rigorous assessment selection, the selected winners were:
