Client feedback destroys iconic designs!

Any professional designer can relate to this typical scenario: You come up with a creative an innovative visual solution that is aesthetically sabotaged by the client’s unreasonable demands. This inspired designers at Graphéine to create a series of hilarious posters titled ‘My client is a graphic designer’.

The posters show iconic designs accompanied by the absurd copy, inspired by the typical changes that over authoritative clients demand. Check them out, you are sure to get a laugh out of them!

Unused Saul Bass movie posters for The Shining

Here are a few unused posters for Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining that were designed by legendary poster artist and title designer Saul Bass. What’s cool about these is that they also include notes from Kubrick on why they didn’t work for the film. It gives us a little insight into how the illustrator worked with the filmmakers to get the right poster design that best represents the movie. The last poster at the end is the one they ended up using.
