Summer Screen Prints Film Posters
Every summer in London an exciting film festival occurs in the month of August. The Film4 Summer Screen at Somerset House brings the best of cinema to life in a truly unique setting. The event consists of 14 nights of carefully selected premieres, cult and classic films, and contemporary work shown on London’s largest outdoor movie screen. Each year an exhibition of original screen-printed posters based on the film programme is organized by Print Club London with Somerset House. This year’s showcase of posters were created by an international group of artists responding to a theme, quote, character or moment inspired by their favourite film being shown. The exhibition features 20 of the best movie posters selected and includes work from numerous artists such as Joe Cruz, Hattie Stewart, Joe Wilson, Rozalina Burkova, and Lucille Clerc.
