The real cost of garments
What’s the real cost of our clothes? Is it the one which we can see on the tag? Or maybe it costs much more? Save The Children shows that the true cost is often invisible for the customer and that the ones who pay the highest price for fashionable garments are the children who sew and produce them. At a first glance, the posters in these series look like a usual fashion campaign, but on a closer look sweaters, blouses and dresses become a jail for little workers, hidden behind prison bars made of striped patterns and prints on model’s clothes. The slogan of this campaign is “A pullover (dress, sweater, tunic) shouldn’t cost a childchood”. What do you think about this poster series? Is it effective and legible? Let us know in comment below!
